Why do I blog? Because it's a way for me to keep in touch with fellow scrappers, to learn new things, and to generally vent my feelings in a public forum. With the exception of a few people, there really aren't a lot of people that I know that scrap. Once in a blue moon, I'll haul my stuff over to one of those friends and scrap. I wish she lived closer and our schedules were more alike so that we could scrap more often, but with our busy lives, it's hard to do. I'm hoping the summer lull will present more opportunities to scrap with her and invited others to join in.

My crafty friends have all moved on to knitting (I did that as a child -- not going back to it). So I'll scrapbook while they knit. It does take some effort to get all four of us together with all our crazy schedules, but it is so worth it when it happens. We usually get together on those non-family obligation holidays: New Years, Fourth of July, Black Friday.
