I'm Chocolate Mousie. Most people online know me as Icecat62. I've been playing ice hockey since 1980. I've been scrapbooking since 2006 when my daughter Bink aka Veronica was born. Hockey and scrapbooking are my main two addictions. Hockey has been my mainstay for many years. It's as much a part of my life as breathing. You may make a face at that, but if you've ever played the game, you'll understand what I mean. It gets in your blood and under your skin the way nothing else can.
Some of my other interests include writing, drawing, my Mac, doing a league web site, taking thousands of photos with my Nikon D40 and Canon PowerShot, and reading when I get the chance. The majority of my reading of late has centered around my monthly scrap mags or blogs. Before my DD was born, I read novels like a chainsaw. Occasionally I get to read a book or two, but not like before. Books cost too much, so thank God for the local library for when I get the itch to read. That and the local dollar stores sometimes hold surprises in their book bins.
I also enjoy doing family history and have a real nice tree on Ancestry.com. I love digging around and trying to find information on the family members who came before me.
So this in a nutshell is me. Chocolate Mousie. Hockey defenseman, scrapbooker, mom to an intelligent and beautiful daughter, wife to a cop, sister to three siblings, aunt to seven nieces and three nephews, and the daughter of two patient parents who had to put up with all of my unique and varied interests through the years. :-D
