Goodbye LWCN :(

For the past three school years, Bink has gone to LWCN. She and I have met new people, made new friends, and as always with school, we're leaving them behind after graduation. Bink is the only child in her graduating class that won't be going to the local school in the town that LWCN is in. We live in the town over from it, and due to the NJ Choice program, we happily won't be sending her to our school district.

All of this still makes me sad and happy at the same time. I'm sad she's leaving such a great school. She's learned so much from the teachers here and has been in a loving environment. Everyone is dedicated to making these beginning years the best for the children there. Even with all the issues that happened this year in the administration part of the school, I'd send her there all over again in a heartbeat.

So here's a photo of her entering the school for one last time for class. I've already shed a few tears today, and I know at their graduation tonight and the class picnic I'll be dropping a few more. I'm going to miss so many people at LWCN and some of the other parents a lot. Bink's life isn't the only one that changes a lot when she goes to another school.

So goodbye LWCN. Thank you for giving my little two year old, now five year old, the best preparation for kindergarten that a parent could ever ask for.

  1. There are so many milestones like this in a child's life but they do say that this young age is one of the most important. At least you know she has a good grounding plus your love and support as well! Hope everything goes well and the transition is smooth.x
