CK and BPS

Creating Keepsakes Summer Camp was over way too fast. I love taking online classes. They're even better when they're free, but I do shell out the money for them too. I am lucky that Big Picture Scrapbooking is hosting a free week of classes coming up in August. They also have other free classes online that I've been working on as well.

I do have a big time fun coming in two more weeks. I'm only getting to go for one day, but in that one day I'll cram in as much fun as I can. I'm attending the Creating Keepsakes Convention at King of Prussia. Six classes, one crop, and a few hours of shopping in the vendor faire will be a great time. It would be even better if I could have gone for two days and attended twelve classes and two crops, but you take what you can get when funds and time are limited. :)

CK Summer Camp 2010 - Nature Walk/Fire Safety

My squirrel photo is finally scrapped. The word nut is the only heat embossed thing on the page. For my first time doing it I could have picked something bigger to try it with, but everything I looked at that was bigger would have totally ruined this page for me. I know I'll try heat embossing again, just when I have a larger item to try it on. The edge of the larger background paper is inked lightly with green. Scraplifted from Tanisha Long, Feb. 2010 issue of Scrapbooks, Etc.

CK Summer Camp 2010 - Get to Know Me

They want us to do a get to know you page. I really don't like to scrap myself, so I threw this digital page together real quick just to get it over and done with. I'm not really all that happy with it, but at least I did one.

CK Summer Camp - Flag Etiquette Badge

It's not a typical banner, but I didn't want triangles or squares hanging down.

Hockey Jersey

I've had this blank hockey jersey for a while and finally figured out what I would put on the front. Scrap lifted from Sherrie Siemens the Sweetest Moments from The Stampers Sampler, April/May 2010 issue. I'll wear this to tryouts this season. :) Done with pencil traced over in permanent magic marker.
